Knowing what your child is learning term by term at school allows you to help them at home. You will be able to better help them with their homework and know what to talk to them about.

We've all had the conversations that goes -'What did you do at school today darling?'  'NOTHING'.

Well, we all know that they did do something. So the conversation might be more productive if you ask questions related to the topic they are following. You might just get an answer.

All schools follow different topics over different terms, but they are all working towards the same outcomes. Check on your child's school website for a indication of what topics the school is covering term by term.
